Hi divas! I took a two-hour nail art and design class today, to hone in on my skills. I haven't taken any nail classes since 2009. I had a lot of fun and bet some great people. Our assignment was to create 5 different nail designs in 10 minutes on our own hands. Here's my designs! Sorry it's a little blurry, it was taken with my phone. I wasn't very happy with the results, but with only 10 minutes to work, I think they are fairly good!
- Burgundy background with silver flowers and purple centers
- Peacock Design: Turquoise background, yellow, red and white peacock spots
- Rainbow Paint Splash: yellow, blue, red and green with silver glitter
- Fade Design. White streak with silver glitter down the center, fading into red and ending with black around the edges
- Strawberry: self-explanatory
My favorite is my middle finger, with the four corners splashed in different colors, with some serious glitter. I love doing nails and realized I hadn't added any nail art tutorials here at all. If any of you, would like for me to give you the step by step tutorials, just send me an email at
